Objective

Singapore Airlines came to Lonely Planet seeking a partnership for a year long awareness campaign that will highlight great travel experiences around the globe, and how Singapore Airlines can get you there.


Solution

The concept was a photo competition where the winners would be featured in an online calendar and could win a trip to any destination in the Singapore Airlines network. My job was to bring this all together into a user journey that would make sense, spread out over 3 phases: 1) A photo competition 2) An online calendar featuring winners from the photo competition, where users can vote for the best calendar photo, sending the winners on a free trip. 3) Featuring the winner’s trip in a photo blog style.

The campaign garnered thousands of entries, resulting in a beautiful calendar of user generated content, and was the largest and most successful campaign to date for Singapore Airlines.
